    Sets the record-keeping duty on the Responsible Person, and requires fire doors to be kept in effective working order and repair.

    Fire Safety (England) Regulations

    Requires quarterly checks of communal fire doors and annual checks of flat entrance doors in buildings over 11m.

    Building Safety Act

    Raises the bar for higher-risk buildings over 18m, with named accountability and gateway processes.
